I haven’t poled at all in a week… Work, Christmas festivities and spending time with family/friends took over the week. And then the heat was out in my pole room until yesterday & it was WAYYY too cold to pole. Needless to say, lots of food – exercise = feeling super lazy.
So I randomly decided to see how many pull ups I could manage to do today. I have never in my entire life been able to do more than 1 chin up (lol) at a time. SAD. I know. My upper body strength is total crap. But I digress! …much to my surprise, I did TWO PULL ups! Not the easy chin ups, but pull ups! No gasping, grunting or falling over in pain! I was SHOCKED! 4 days of poling a full WEEK ago, and my upper bod strength is already making changes for the better!
So YAY for pole fitness!!! Gonna start invert prep workouts tomorrow and make sure my pole sit with no hands is still attainable. I’ll update again later 🙂
